Maciej is a Polish name which is pronounced Ma-Chey. The ‘ch’ is strong like ‘chips’. There is no ‘sh’ sound. mmmaciej is like Maciej, except tastier and perhaps more thoughtful. There is no capital letter at the start of mmmaciej because mmmaciej is more than just a name, it is a part of this universe as much as a tree, a star or a mountain is.

mmmaciej was born in Wroclaw, Poland. He moved to Perth in Australia when he was just 3 years old and grew up there. Surrounded by great people but a lack of opportunity and inspiration he moved to Melbourne in 2010 where he now resides.

A student of philosophy and graphic design for many years (due to being a fairly lazy part-time student) mmmaciej found his true calling in about 2005. It started with making t-shirts that he wanted to wear but could not find in any shops. “Well if you can’t find it, you should make it” he thought. So after some years of working as a screen printer mmmaciej felt limited with what he could do with shirts and started playing with making pictures on paper and on the computer.
